Who is Kent Cummins?

Training should not be an expense…it should be an investment!

When you work with a professional trainer to develop a regular program based on your goals and specific needs, you should notice improved morale, better teamwork, and greater productivity. In other words, your training should be cost-effective!

Kent is a businessman who makes his living as a keynote

speaker. When he is not speaking for major associations and Fortune 500 companies, he organizes regular training for a wide variety of clients. (Past clients have included the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, Motorola, IBM, White Horse Lodging, Hyatt Hotels, the SamWitch shops, Austin Cabaret Theatre, Sysco Foods, Texas State Optical, Austin Public Libraries, Boy Scouts of America, U.S. Naval Sea Cadets, Encyclopaedia Britannica, and many more.)

"Good Results Aren't Magic! You proved that to us time and time again during our first quarter Team Meeting. By incorporating Magic throughout the program, critical information was easily absorbed by our staff and they didn't even realize they were learning. A fun time was had by all."

Kent's education includes a BA Degree in Communications from LSU and an MBA from the University of Texas, but his ability as a trainer actually began with the Club Management School at Fort Lee, Virginia and Fort Ben Harrison, Indiana. Kent received awards for his training materials, and was designated a Distinguished Instructor. This success led to training assignments with the International Club Executives Association and the other military services.

In 1976, Kent became CEO of Galatex, Incorporated, an entrepreneurial corporation operating restaurants and other businesses in Central Texas. Kent's primary responsibilities included marketing and training.

Kent has recently designed a series of highly flexible "brown bag training seminars" that can be integrated into almost any organization's schedule.

"Inviting Kent back for a second workshop was no accident. He delivers all that is promised and more than expected. A super hit with our students and staff!"
